Total Shower Refurbishment in Hastings
This shower needed urgent help to bring back its beauty. All the grout in shower base, and on the walls had failed and was falling out. Lots of moisture was seeping through the cracked cement based grout lines . Other tilers said to retile whole shower with big cost.
For me to makeover this shower, all I needed was to remove all old grout and replace with stain resistant, waterproof epoxy grout. I carefully removed all of the grout with GroutPro’s special equipment without damaging the edges of the tiles and replaced with epoxy. I also removed the mouldy silicone from every corner in the shower and installed new top quality professional silicone.
The final result was top class. Our customer said it looked better than what it looked when new, and having top quality epoxy grout makes it water tight – protecting from future damage plus less cleaning time to keep it fresh all time.
Now it’s easy to maintain this tiled kitchen floor in Havelock North
This kitchen floor had stained grout. Being a high traffic area, this is common in all homes as grout is very porous and is rarely sealed. The customer had tried all sorts of cleaning products and spent a lot of time trying to get the grout clean with very little outcome and found it to be a time-consuming ongoing task which she didn’t have time for.
The grout was cleaned with our specialised cleaning products and equipment, then our Colourseal product was applied to the grout resulting in a “as new” looking tiled floor and providing a highly water and stain resistant grout surface making ongoing maintenance much easier for the customer.
Another shower refurbishment
This frustrated homeowner wanted to remove tiles and put acrylic shower on top of these beautiful tiles as they were having issues with mould growing in the silicone and cementious grout. The grout itself was also badly stained due to year of use.
Refurbishment wasn’t hard for me as it’s is my everyday thing. All I needed to do was remove the grout in the shower base and replace it with waterproof epoxy grout. I also removed and replaced the silicone throughout the shower – something that needs to be done every couple of years.
The shower walls and rest of the bathroom floor grout was cleaned and Colour sealed to its original colour. As we have 96 colours to choose from we could have recoloured the grout to any colour the customer preferred.
My happy customer couldn’t believe what we achieved with same tiled shower.
No more hard work to keep it clean from here.
